DSP Processor

We had observed this experiment that was performed by the some of my classmates. In this experiment we used TMS320C5505 processor board, MATLAB to design a filter and obtain coefficients of the transfer function, TI Code Composite studio. This is used to filter out background noise. The input was taken from microphone and out was observed using headphone.

      Yes you can it has inbuilt serial port for communication also you can use parallel interfacing using gpio pins

    What is the difference between dsp processor and normal processor...can we design a filter using a normal. Processor????

      Filters can be designed using normal processor as well...but there are many limitations in it when it comes to parallel operations.
